Firehose and Checkout

You can send your customers to Checkout to book the ScheduledSessions and Slots you find in Firehose.

Is an opportunity bookable?

Not all of them are. Before you show a “Book” button, check the imin:isPotentiallyBookable flags and the booking window as described in Firehose and Booking.

Booking a session or slot

If an occurrence is bookable, show your customers a “Book” button or link to Checkout:

Occurrence	Checkout URL
ScheduledSession	https://{checkoutBaseUrl}/v1/scheduled-sessions/{identifier}
Slot	https://{checkoutBaseUrl}/v1/slots/{identifier}

Where:

• checkoutBaseUrl is the Checkout hostname we have set up together, e.g. checkout.acmesports.com. See Your {checkoutBaseUrl} & your DNS settings.
• identifier is the occurrence’s identifier field, URI encoded.
